North East Container Services Corp's founder, Anthony Foglia, was immersed in the bulk container industry from day one. Tagging along to watch his father work, he hungered to learn everything about his family's steel drum & container business. The moment he was old enough, he began working weekends and nights after high school, where his active role gave him insights on what it takes to operate a business in this industry.
Anthony learned a lot about what it takes to achieve success, and got his chance to apply this when he saw an opportunity in his industry. He noticed that companies who shipped various products had difficulty ensuring their IBCs received a completely thorough clean. Moreover, only IBCs carrying easily-washed products could even attempt to be cleaned. Anthony recognized that thorough IBC cleaning service was of high value as a major cost saver, increasing the lifespan and versatility of IBCs.
